Neurological sciences and its clinical application was started on 11th April 1986 by Dr. R.C.Mishra for the population of around 20 million people. Like any beginning it faced lot of hurdles. But then there was no let down in promoting the cause of Neuroscience. A determined effort for increasing the awareness and its advancements continued.

Today it can be seen an appreciable effort in the form of functioning Advanced Neurosurgical Care Unit at Kamayani hospital. It caters all type of Neurosurgical problems with exclusive neuro intensive care, microsurgery operating facility and endoscopic procedures. The unit is headed by Dr.R.C.Mishra, M.S.,M.Ch.(neuro).

STROKE
 

A damage to the brain due to an interruption in blood flow. The interruption may be caused by a blood clot , constriction of a blood vessel, or rupture of a vessel accompanied by bleeding. A pouch like expansion of the wall of a blood vessel may weaken and burst, for example, because of high blood pressure. Kamayani hospital provides all the aid required for treatment like,

These surgeries include excising, or cutting out, brain tumors and removing ruptured discs in the spine, an operation known as a laminectomy. The use of specialized imaging equipment, such as computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), permits to identify the exact location of some tumors, making surgery to remove these growths more precise and less harmful to surrounding healthy tissue.
